The aluminum formwork wall tie system is one of the aluminum formwork systems. It uses the wall tie reinforcement method. Compared with the tie rod system, it does not need to drill holes. After the formwork is removed, the wall will not leave holes, which greatly reduces the risk of external wall leakage. 1. Introduction of aluminum formwork wall tie
The wall tie is a thin steel sheet with a thickness of 1.8mm-3.0mm. The length is determined according to the thickness of the wall column. During concrete construction, it can "hold" the aluminum formwork on both sides tightly to prevent mold expansion and explosion during construction and ensure construction. quality.
The wall tie is made of high-strength manganese steel, and each batch will be tested for tension to ensure that each wall tie can withstand a pull force of more than 28kN.
The wall tie does not need to drill holes on the formwork panel, but mills groove on the side ribs of the aluminum formwork, and is installed at the seam of the aluminum formwork through pins to connect the formwork on both sides. After the concrete is solidified, the aluminum formwork will be removed, and the wall tie is left in the concrete, with both ends sticking out of the wall. After removing all the aluminum formwork, break the protruding part of the wall tie. The wall tie is designed with a V-shaped structure with stress concentration, and the break is 5mm inside the wall, so there is no need to worry about the impact on the subsequent decoration process.

2.Advantages of aluminum formwork wall tie
"Quality":
In terms of construction quality, the round holes at both ends of the wall tie and the aluminum formwork on both sides of the wall are fastened with pins, and the length of each wall tie is fixed so that the thickness of the wall can be guaranteed to be equal. It avoids the phenomenon of uneven wall thickness caused by the tie rod system due to the different tightening degree of each nut and improves the vertical quality of the wall surface.
After removing the formwork of the wall tie, just break off the wall tie heads that are exposed on both sides of the wall. There will be no holes left on the wall, and there is no hidden danger of water seepage.

"Quickly":
In terms of installation efficiency, only two horizontal single-tube square channels need to be arranged on the inner wall of the wall tie system, and the average steel pipe weight of each project is about 3.5 tons. Compared with the tie rod system with four horizontal double-pipe back corrugations and vertical back corrugations, the weight can be reduced by more than 70%, the labor intensity of installation, removal and transmission is low and the efficiency is high.
In terms of horizontal back corrugated fastening, the wall tie system uses a waler bracket, and the wedge can be fastened by easily swinging the hammer. Compared with the tie rod system, it saves a lot of noncutting stroke during the nut tightening process. There is no need to double-check whether each nut is tightened, and the installation process is simple and fast.
